The Sixth Extinction is not solely happening at the level of flora and fauna no longer existing in our worlds forests.

We are losing languages, traditions and ways of knowing that are equally as vital to the resilience of the global ecosystem.

What if the weaving patterns and songs of the Elders hold ecological information that is of equal value to the planet as the diversity of wildlife species?

is an herbalist with a passion for ecological restoration. After graduating with a BA in Environmental Science, She spent three years studying medicinal plants and healing traditions throughout Central and South America with Indigenous Elders in the Chortega, BriBri, and Kichwa communities. In her ongoing exploration of Botanical stewardship, she focuses on plants that grow where reverence and restoration intersect— species that are keystone in their cultural significance and their ecological niches. Her Ethnobotanical Research centers community partnership in the conservation of culture, identity and ecological resilience.

Kennah’s devotion to ancestral embodiment and medicinal plants also informs her herbalism practice where she connects people with medicines that have past through their lineage.

Committed to midwifing a Future with an Ancient Heart.
